Instructions

  1. Sauté Onion: Add the butter and olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium-low heat. Once the butter has melted, add the sliced onions and cook for about 5 minutes until the onions start to caramelize, developing a sweet, golden-brown flavor.
  2. Cook Vegetables: Stir in the cauliflower florets, cremini mushrooms, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and vegetable broth. Continue cooking for around 10 minutes, allowing the mushrooms and cauliflower to brown and soften while absorbing the seasoning.
  3. Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant and aromatic. Taste the mixture and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
