Instructions

  1. Sauté Broccoli: Set a 10-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the broccoli and sauté until bright green and just tender, about 4 minutes. Remove the broccoli to a bowl.
  2. Prepare Garlic Cream Sauce: Melt the remaining butter in the same pan and add the minced garlic, cooking until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the heavy whipping cream and bring the mixture to a simmer, then cook until the sauce is reduced and thickened, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add Cheeses: Stir in 1/3 cup of mozzarella and all of the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Stir the sautéed broccoli and chopped cooked chicken into the cheese sauce. Then, evenly top the mixture with the remaining 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Broil to Finish: Preheat your oven’s broiler. Place the skillet about 6 inches from the heat source and broil until the cheese is beginning to brown and bubble, about 2 to 5 minutes depending on your broiler’s intensity. Watch closely to prevent burning.
