Tea Base
- 16 oz brewed green tea (brewed and cooled)
Add-ins
- 1/4 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 3 tbsp lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
- 1 tsp honey
Others
- Brew the green tea: Brew 2 cups (16 oz) of water with a green tea bag. Add 1 teaspoon of honey or your preferred sweetener to the hot tea and stir until dissolved.
- Cool the green tea: Either refrigerate the brewed tea for a couple of hours until chilled or pour the hot tea gently over lots of ice to cool immediately, noting this may slightly dilute the tea flavor.
- Prepare the serving cup: Fill a 32 oz cup or mason jar with ice cubes.
- Add lemon juice: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon, approximately 3 tablespoons, into the cooled tea.
- Mix in freeze-dried strawberries: Add 1/4 cup of freeze-dried strawberries directly into the iced tea and stir gently to combine.
- Serve and enjoy: Your iced strawberry green tea is ready to drink, refreshing and naturally flavored.
Notes
- Freeze-dried strawberries add natural fruity flavor without extra liquid or dilution.
- Adjust honey sweetness to taste or substitute with sugar or artificial sweeteners.
- For stronger tea flavor, brew the tea longer or use more tea bags.
- Using fresh lemon juice is preferred for best flavor.
- Pouring hot tea over ice cools quickly but may dilute the flavor.
