Ingredients

Scale

Filling

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • ⅓ cup wing sauce
  • 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon sour cream

Dough & Topping

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count)
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ranch seasoning

For Serving

  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, wing sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, room temperature cream cheese, and sour cream. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Prepare the biscuit dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate each of the 8 biscuits in half, creating 16 thinner pieces of dough.
  3. Fill and shape the bombs: Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each biscuit piece. Carefully fold the edges of the dough around the filling, sealing it tightly and rolling it into a ball to fully encase the filling.
  4. Arrange in air fryer basket: Place the formed biscuit balls into the air fryer basket, ensuring there is enough space between each for proper air circulation and even cooking.
  5. Brush with butter mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter with ranch seasoning. Brush this mixture generously over each biscuit ball for added flavor and browning.
  6. Air fry the bombs: Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook the biscuits for 5-6 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Check doneness as times may vary slightly depending on air fryer model.
  7. Serve: Remove the Buffalo Chicken Bombs from the air fryer and serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, increase the wing sauce or add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
  • Make sure to seal the biscuit dough edges tightly to prevent leakage during cooking.
  • These can also be baked in a conventional oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 12-15 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer.
  • Use cooked chicken from rotisserie or leftovers to save time on prep.
  • Refrigerate any leftovers and reheat in the air fryer to maintain crispiness.
