Ingredients

Scale

For the Brownie Mixture

  • 18 oz Brownie Mix (prepared according to package instructions for fudgy texture)
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, full-fat, brick-style

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 3 cups Chocolate Melting Wafers

For the Decoration

  • Sprinkles (your favorite colorful types)

Instructions

  1. Bake the Brownies: Prepare brownies according to the package instructions in a 9×13 inch pan. Bake as directed and let them cool completely to ensure a fudgy texture perfect for truffles.
  2. Mix Brownie and Cream Cheese: Once cooled, break the brownies into chunks and place them in a large bowl. Add the cream cheese and use a hand mixer to blend everything together until smooth and lump-free.
  3. Form the Truffles: Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the brownie mixture and roll it gently between your palms to form smooth, round balls. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the Truffles: Transfer the baking sheet with the brownie balls into the freezer for 30 minutes, letting the truffles firm up and become solid to the touch.
  5. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate wafers in 20-second intervals, stirring well between each until the chocolate is fully melted, smooth, and glossy.
  6. Dip the Truffles: Using a fork, dip each frozen truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is completely coated. Gently tap the fork to remove excess chocolate and return the coated truffle to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Decorate and Set: Immediately decorate the chocolate-coated truffles with colorful sprinkles as desired. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes until the chocolate sets and hardens.

Notes

  • For best results, use full-fat cream cheese to achieve a creamy and smooth mixture.
  • Make sure brownies are fully cooled before mixing to avoid melting the cream cheese.
  • You can substitute chocolate melting wafers with high-quality chocolate chips for coating.
  • Store finished truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Allow truffles to come to room temperature for a few minutes before serving for optimal flavor and texture.
